北京中盾安全技术开发公司是公安部第一研究所出资设立的国有独资企业，注册资本1.8亿元人民币。主要从事法定证件及专用IC卡读写设备研究与生产、计算机信息系统集成与信息安全项目设计实施、公安和社会公共安全领域技术开发、警用器材营销、进出口贸易等经营活动，并投资设立了数家公司，涉及安全检查、安全防范、证件证卡、警用器械、警用通讯等领域，年营业额过亿元。
作为中关村科技园区的高新技术企业，中盾公司依托公安部第一研究所的科研优势，整合各项资源，发展核心竞争力，按照ISO9001：2000质量体系进行管理，使企业高速运行。产品研发涉及法定证件制作与防伪验证、安全检查与探测、综合安全防范系统集成、公安专用数字加密通信、警用防护装备等领域。多年来一直积极为政府主要部门的重要会议及大型活动的安全提供强有力的技术保障。近年来还承担了国家“十一五”科技支撑项目、“3111”系统工程建设等多项国家重要科研课题的研究，近年由中安协评选为3111优秀工程商，在京安协组织的安防企业诚信建设体系中被评为AAA级诚信单位。

Beijing Zhongdun Security Technology Development Co. is a state-owned enterprise invested by the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security of China, with a registered capital of 180 million RMB. The scope of business of the company includes the technological research of social security and police equipment, the development of policing technology, the R&D of security equipment, the research and production of legal cards and documents, and the design and implementation of system integration projects.
As a hi-tech company located in the Zhongguancun Science Park, Zhongdun integrates all the resources, depending on the R & D advantage of the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, to develop its core competitiveness. The company operates at a high speed and is managed in accordance with the ISO9001:2000 quality system. The product development involves the areas including the production and anti-counterfeiting and verification of legal cards and documents, security inspection and detection, system integration of comprehensive security and protection, digital encoded communication for special public security purposes, and police protection equipment.
